GM
At General Meetings (GMs), different committees will update the board about their progress or about any upcoming events. There will also be a Board Awards ceremony to recognise those who have contributed greatly to the board.

PSL Training Camp 1
Peer Support Leader Training Camp 1 (PSLTC 1) was a training camp at the end of last year for PSLs to know each other better through games and activities. There were also training sessions to learn more about the different leadership styles and how the board is run.
 
PSL Training Camp 2
Peer Support Leader Training Camp 2 (PSLTC 2) was the first gathering as PSB 2009. The highlight was the amazing race, whereby PSLs were required to fulfill tasks to collect items. Eventually, the items collected formed a collage with the letters 'PSB'. Through it, the PSLs have learnt many skills, which have helped them through the course of their Peer Support Term. 

Orientation
The theme for the Secondary One orientation this year was RGS 130 Live the Legacy which is in line with the school’s theme for this year. The purpose of Orientation is to allow the Sec 1s to get to know their school, classmates and surroundings better. PSLs are attached to Sec 1 classes and help to conduct orientation activities such as Icebreakers, Raffles Initiation Sessions and Station Games for them. 

PSL Sessions
PSL sessions are conducted every Saturday to help Sec 1s with the transition from primary to secondary school. These sessions help the Sec 1s build strong relationships amongst their classmates, hence fostering class bonding. Sessions are conducted in a variety of ways ranging from role-plays to video presentations.

Friendship Week
Friendship week is a PSB initiative, which aims to reach out to the school community. It provides an opportunity for the board to realise its goals in creating a caring school community. Friendship week includes initiatives such as Give-A-Hug Day, and Teddy Bear Sales. These aim to foster healthy peer relationships within the school community. Friendship week this year was a success, with RGS students actively participating in the events planned by the board. 

PSC (Peer Support Convention)
This year, Victoria School and Raffles Girls’ School Peer Support Boards collaborated to organise the 1st VS- RGS Peer Support Convention (PSC), aimed at promoting and spreading the peer support spirit among secondary schools. Through engaging peer support leaders from all over the nation in an exchange of experiences, PSC aims to enrich every individual as an active peer supporter in this shared network.
The theme selected for the 1st Victoria School-Raffles Girls’ School Peer Support Convention is Encouraging Peer, Enduring Support, Embracing Spirit, which aptly encapsulates the desired learning points of each and every individual that participates in the convention. The theme consists of three phrases, the second word of each making up ‘Peer Support Spirit’, which directly relates to the aims and objectives of this convention.

Voices that Care (VTC)
This year, VTC (Voices that Care) was changed to a once a term instead of monthly initiative. It aims to reach out to the school population to help lighten the atmosphere, spreading the peer support spirit to support each other throughout the hectic and stressful school terms. Every term, the theme changes to meet the various needs of the school population, for example in Term Three, due to the increasing numbers of Performance Tasks and responsibilities, the theme was Step Up, Loosen Up.

ORA
Every year, PSB participates actively in the Old Rafflesians’ Association (ORA) Walk-a-Jogathon, setting up fundraising food and games stalls. This year, PSB sold fat-free, assorted yoghurt. The sale of yoghurt turned out to be a hit among other Rafflesians, and Peer Support Leaders stepped up to the challenge to exercise their entrepreneurship skills, and eventually cleared all the stocks by noon! Despite rejections, humid weather and exhaustion, the PSLs kept their spirits up, encouraging each other through any obstacles faced. 

June outing
In June, PSB met up at Sentosa for a board outing which PSLs had a chance to bond and get to know each other better. There were games and an amazing race organized. The PSLs had a whale of a time together.

PSB outreach
PSB Outreach is an annual one-day event whereby the school community, mostly the Secondary 2s, has a chance to experience the PSB Peer Support Spirit, and gain a better understanding of the role of a PSL. Despite the constraints this year with regards to H1N1, PSB managed to come up with a board video (Under Media), even though the event was not conducted.
